I've never been one for the linear career path, and I have always strived to develop myself in a more rounded manner, which working in a large organisation such as British Gas has allowed me to do. I have also had the privilege to serve a full term as a Non-Exec at the University of the Highlands & Islands, alongside a demanding day to day role.

Following the successful delivery of another major transformation programme, I am now focusing on the centralisation of change and transformation across British Gas Services & Solutions. This re-org will streamline activity and governance, enabling efficiencies and a small opportunity for voluntary redundancy. Having been considering a move beyond the horizon of my current organisation for some time, I have taken this opportunity to pursue a new adventure elsewhere.

Reflecting on a successful career, it's been a wonderful and rewarding experience. However, I am now ready to turn my focus and energy elsewhere and I am truly excited by the future and a new challenge, which I will be ready to begin in the new year.
